If you happened to listen to our bonus episode, you will know that we’ve both been concerned with the fight for true racial equality and harmony in our world. It’s a slow and steady race but we can get there. And even though we're going back to regularly scheduled programming, we don't want to give up the good fight.
We also wanted to add that to anyone who doesn’t feel like listening to a couple of white girls talk about racism: that’s totally fine. We just wanted to make sure that if anyone was curious about where we stand that we stated that we are definitely anti-racism.
We know that we will never understand but we will always strive to empathize with the constant struggle. We’d also encourage anyone else who wants to fight the good fight that if you’re quarantined or low on funds, signing petitions for causes like Breonna Taylor’s murder investigation and George Floyd’s family are great ways to help out. But, probably the best way to help out is to listen to people and learn from their story.
